Assistant Quantity Surveyor - Utilities in London, London, United Kingdom

My client, a large utility contract is looking for a strong Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their team managing utility diversion contracts on a multimillion-pound project due continuing for 3+ years. This West London based position is ideal for someone with 2-3 years experience who is keen to prove their experience in a new company and step up to Quantity Surveyor in the near future.
Location: Central London
Roles and responsibilities:
- Preparation of cost estimates, cost plans, tender documents, interim valuations of the construction
- Provide general support in the cost management and financial reporting
- Attend meetings to provide QS input, review project progress and present project data as appropriate
- Working on own projects as appropriate

Candidate Requirements:
- A degree in Quantity Surveying, Estimating, Civil Engineering or similar / Equivalent HND (not necessary)
- Working knowledge of NEC/JCT
- Have a very good work ethic and be willing to work hard
