Carrington West is recruiting a Building Surveyor to undertake property inspections on Network Rail building assets including stations, depots and lineside buildings.

As the Building Surveyor, you will develop, manage and deliver survey strategies, report asset conditions to the Route Asset Manager and monitor ongoing planned and reactive maintenance schemes across the Northwest region.

The office is based in Manchester, however you will be expected to carry out inspections between Crewe - Carlisle.

Requirements:

• Proven experience of surveying property within the railway industry
• Understanding of track safety and railways possessions.
• Valid PTS and drivers license is a must
• Educated to HNC/HND level
