This is an exciting opportunity to work on one of HS2's most prestigious projects.

Reporting into the Managing Quantity Surveyor and as part of a 4 person Change Team, you will be responsible for managing subcontractor and client change and risk reduction, producing CE's, and working with Commercial Leads for each package and agreeing Change with the client.

As the successful candidate, day to responsibilities will include:

• Working with commercial department &/or project team, to support the successful identification, evaluation, negotiation and implementation of change;
• Supporting the production of accurate forecasts of change;
• Obtaining supporting information from a variety of sources to ensure the veracity of the implications of change;
• Having a strong understanding of the change mechanisms particular to the project;
• Ensuring contract the contract timescales are adhered;
• Assisting in ensuring effective records are maintained to support change evaluation;
• Delivering information on change as required by other functions;
• Ensuring compliance with BMS;
• Meeting with the client representative as and when required;

Key experience and Qualifications will include:

• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or relevant qualification and experience
• Principal Contractor and Major Project experience
• Previous experience managing Change
• NEC contract experience
