The leading infrastructure recruitment specialist are seeking a Chief Surveyor (NATM) to join a leading joint venture on the NEOM Project in Saudi Arabia.

NEOM is a ground-breaking initiative that aims to create a futuristic, sustainable, and technologically advanced city that will set new standards for urban development. As a key player in this transformative project, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Surveyor to lead and manage the surveyor team of our Joint Venture.

Job Role / Responsibilities

• Lead the surveyor team and oversee all surveying activities related to tunnel and underground projects within the NEOM development.
• Implement and supervise surveying methodologies, ensuring accurate data collection, analysis, and reporting.
• Provide technical expertise in Tunnelling and NATM surveying, offering innovative solutions to complex surveying challenges.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure precise alignment of tunnel structures and adherence to project specifications.
• Monitor and control surveying processes to maintain high accuracy and efficiency in project execution.
• Conduct quality control checks on survey data and deliverables to ensure compliance with international standards and project requirements.
• Act as a liaison with relevant authorities and stakeholders on surveying matters, representing the Joint Venture professionally and confidently.

Location

The role will be based on NEOM, Saudi Arabia.

Requirements

• A degree in Civil Engineering, Geomatics, or a related field is essential.
• A minimum of 20 years of working experience in surveying, with a significant focus on tunnel and underground projects using NATM methods.
• Strong leadership skills, with a proven ability to lead and manage a surveyor team effectively.
• Experience working on projects in the Saudi Arabia region is highly desirable, with a thorough understanding of local surveying regulations and practices.
• Expertise in utilizing modern surveying equipment and software for tunneling and underground projects.
• Familiarity with industry standards and best practices related to tunnel surveying.
