Managing Quantity Surveyor (Rail) in United Kingdom
Our Client is a leading Main Contractor with an established and enviable reputation for delivering infrastructure projects and frameworks within the south east and nationally.
Due to project awards and an expansion of their rail offering, they have the need for a Managing Quantity Surveyor to manage a team of between 5 to 10 staff (with growth), ranging from Grad QS's to Senior Quantity Surveyors, delivering a yearly value of works of between £20 - £30m.
The ideal candidate will have extensive civils in rail experience, with E&P project experience an advantage but not essential. They will have proven Managing Quantity Surveyor experience and demonstrable NEC Target Cost and Cost Plus knowledge.
This is a key role within the business, with a clearly identified opportunity for progression and can be based out of a number of offices within the London, South East or Southern region, with flexible WfH options.
Experience Required:
- Civil Engineering experience on infrastructure projects and general railway civil engineering project experience.
- Experience managing teams delivering projects and packages circa £5,000,000 - £ <phone number removed>
- Main Contractor and direct delivery experience
- Previous Line Manager experience
- Experienced in project and portfolio reporting
- Based in either the London, South East or Southern regions
Qualifications:
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or relevant qualification and experience
- NEC3 & NR Contract experience
