My client, who is a highly regarded Civil Engineering contractor in the rail industry is currently looking to recruit a Measurement Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Surrey.

The Opportunity

The overall purpose of the role is to carry out the financial and contractual administration on assigned projects, ensuring costs, income and cash flow are within established targets. You will provide all necessary information to the site based staff on projects to aid with their decision making.

The ideal candidate

You will ideally have a background in rail, however a civil engineering or infrastructure background would also be well suited to this role. You will have extensive measurement experience using National Schedule of Rates and Rail Addendum. You will be working within a team of four so it is essential that you support each other at all times. This role will involve working on multiple projects at any one time, so it is important that you have excellent organisational and time management skills. With an analytical mind, you will also be proficient in Microsoft Excel.
