Based in Milton Keynes
Our client is a well established Rail company whose professionalism and well respected name have been instrumental in their success.
We are looking for a Property Management Surveyor with building valuation experience. The role will involve travel to other locations.
You will need:
Essential:
The role requires considerable expertise in developing relationships and persistence to ensure opportunities and found and completed
The successful applicant will have a thorough knowledge of the L & T law as well as wide knowledge of commercial property valuation and documentation.
- MRICS qualified or qualifying or degree educated with complementary experience
- Experience of managing a range of property transactions
- Good communication and influencing skills
- Proven negotiation skills
- Good presentation skills
- Good time management skills
- Positive and hands-on team player
Desirable:
- Full driving licence
- Understanding of the rail industry and rail legislation
- Experience of computerised database systems.
The Role:
- This commercial surveying role is responsible for the overall management of the commercial easements and related property. Current emphasis is on growing this rent roll by active research and the thought application of asset management best practice.
- Clear objectives are to create and grow business opportunities with existing and new customers to maximise revenue from property assets.
- Stakeholder Management – To deliver a range of professional property services for a client group including (but not exclusive to) : acquisition, compensation claims, leases, surrenders, complex lettings, sale and temporary use of operational land. Be responsive to the needs of the business in delivering a range of property services.
- Operating Environment – Take responsibility for managing projects and programmes to an agreed budget. Manage portfolio to property service to maximum efficiency, delivering business objectives in terms of cost savings, income generation, asset management.
- Resource Management – To develop and maintain close and effective working relationships with internal colleagues to enable efficient and effective delivery.
- Service – To deliver a professional service to all internal clients and external customers, outperforming service targets, and develop strong working relationships with all key stakeholders. Instruct and manage relationships with external agents and solicitors to deliver optimum value commercial agreements.
