A leading infrastructure recruitment specialist are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a pioneering international infrastructure consultancy to be based in their Manchester office. They are a leading infrastructure specialist, providing ecological consultancy, design and contracting services.
Job Role / Responsibilities
The Quantity Surveyor will be reporting directly to the Senior Project Manager, or the Commercial Manager, on a wide variety of projects in excess of 10m. The role will be challenging, diverse and offer fantastic opportunities for technical and wider career development.

Salary Package
£30,000 - £40,000 DOE
Requirements
For this role, the client that Rullion Engineering are working with have a minimum requirement of:
- Be experienced in the NEC3 suite of contracts
- Have an ability in negotiating across the various levels of the infrastructure environment
- Possess excellent numeracy and IT skills.
- Be able to advise on potential risks and evaluate options for control
- Provide on-going cost analysis
- Produce feasibility studies of client's requests
- Analyse sub-contractor's quotations
- Prepare and agree variation accounts
- Agree of interim valuations and final accounts
- Prepare and issue certification for contract payments to sub-contractors
- Provide evidence for resolution of potential disputes
- Demonstrate innovative approaches to problem solving
- Experience in the environmental and ground engineering sector preferred.
- Maintain a positive relationship with the Client
Qualifications/Experience
- Experience with NEC3 form of contract
- Minimum of 3 years' experience postgraduate
- Experience of running construction projects in excess of £5m
- Confident with clients, meetings and contractual duties
