My client are a well established main contractor with a reputation for delivering high-quality projects throughout the UK. They are currently seeking a freelance Quantity Surveyor to work on prominently claims from their office based in Birmingham.
To be successful in this role, candidates must have a successful track record in delivering on claims, whilst working with a recognised main contractor.

To be successful in this role, candidates must be able to display relevant industry experience as well as the following attributes:
Degree educated in Quantity Surveying or equivalent in industry related subject
Experience of working on multi-room, refurb projects would be beneficial
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Full UK driving license
Responsibilities:
Producing commercial reports to be used both internally and externally, ensuring that the proper formal notifications are raised to ensure company compliance with legislation, terms of engagement and best practice.
Handling claims, queries, rates and negotiations
Supervising and providing support/training to less experienced members of the commercial team.
