Due to continued growth, my client is currently looking to recruit a Quantity Surveyor to join their rail team in London.

This role will be site based covering the Wessex region and will be reporting to the Managing Quantity Surveyor.

This is a permanent opportunity and a very competitive salary and package is on offer to the successful candidate.

What will be expected from the successful candidate

The successful candidate will support the commercial delivery of schemes across four different work packages, working closely with commercial colleagues, the site delivery teams and Network Rail.

The Ideal Candidate

Ideally my client is looking for a Quantity Surveyor, who has experience of the delivery of civil works within a rail environment.

You will understand the importance of good commercial performance in the delivery of project success and understand the NEC forms of contract.

You will be an excellent communicator and be able to deliver commercial information in a clear way that is understood by all.

You will understand the concept of value and be able to liaise with internal and external contacts in a measured and open manner and ideally have working knowledge of Network Rail processes.
