About the Role

This particular role falls within the companies Wessex region (which is one of the fastest growing areas in the business) however it is a site based role so you will be operating from the site in Wembley for the duration of the scheme (2 years) and then on completion either slotting into the regional offices in Basingstoke or continuing on another rail scheme in London. This position will be a challenging one as the the client is notorious for making claims and so you will be supporting the Senior Quantity Surveyor with variations, claims and disputes along with your own package of work that will involve contract administration and subcontractor management.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Experienced Quantity Surveyor
  • Rail experience is essential, preferably Network Rail
  • MUST be up for a challenge and not get flustered under pressure (this is not an easy project)
  • Be able to travel to Wembley on a daily basis and be able to commute to Basingstoke (long-term)
  • Educated to HNC level as minimum

Remuneration

So, what’s on offer? The company are paying the right Quantity Surveyor a salary of up to £45,000 (depending on experience) along with a company car or car allowance, 25 days holiday, 5% Pension and Westfield Healthcare Plan.
