Position:Quantity Surveyor

Location: Croydon & London

Rate: £350-£425 p/d Inside IR35 depending on experience

Are you interested in working for one of the biggest tier 2 contractors in the UK? Are you a Quantity Surveyor with an M&E background? Have you worked on re-signalling projects in the past? If so, this opportunity could be your next!

Initially the successful candidate will have the opportunity to be part of a £750 million regional upgrade plan to various rail stations and tracks across London. The scope of works includes the re-signalling works to one of the most popular railway stations in the UK. The work includes upgrades to the telecoms systems, civil engineering works, electrification and plant works, as well as the installation of a new track side 650V electrical power feeder.

The candidate will have the opportunity to naturally progress onto several other major re-signalling projects in which the contractor has successfully won as well a new Framework in which they have been awarded.

This would be a great opportunity for a candidate who is looking to either continue their career specialising in M&E or re-signalling projects. Or someone who is looking to start to specialise within this sector of rail.

The candidate must have come from a rail background ideally with signalling or M&E experience. The candidate must be familiar with NEC and NR contracts and have a minimum of 3 years experience working on similar projects. Ideally the candidate should have some form of degree or equivalent.
