Quantity Surveyor

This is a great opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join a reputable, and professional Tier 2 contractor who specialise in M&E and telecoms within the rail, highways, and power sectors. They are looking for someone to join the business due to a high volume of work across all sectors.

We are looking for someone who is really wanting to progress within their career, as this company prides themselves on helping their employees to excel and develop.

They have their own internal RICS programme and commercial development programme which entails various practical 'hands on' topics such as negotiating and claims.

You can expect hybrid working, but your main office and sites will be based around central London.


Key responsibilities for this Quantity Surveyor role include-


- Accurate reporting to the Senior QS/ Commercial Lead on CVRs, Cash flow and weekly updates.
- Responsible for the project budget and provide regular commercial forecasts
- Assist in and carry out valuations for the purpose of initial, interim and final payment applications
- Involvement with change, compensation events and claims.

Experience required for this Quantity Surveyor role include-

- Experience working within infrastructure (rail, power, or highways)
- MUST have main contractor or tier 2 contractor experience
- Working knowledge and experience with NEC3 contracts
- Degree educated in Quantity Surveying or similar

- £45,000- £65,000 DOE
