Quantity Surveyor

This is a great opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor or an Assistant to looking to step up into a new role. This company is set up into two divisions; their rail depot and fleet business, and the construction side, where they work on various rail depots including M&E, walkways etc.

This company is massively expanding and looking to grow their commercial team. They are working on various depot redevelopment projects ranging in value up to £3M. However, they have an exciting potential upcoming project which will be valuing at circa £35M.

There is plenty of scope to grow, and develop within your career, which can lead to more senior positions in the future.

The main base is Leeds, however this company are extremely flexible when it comes to home working and let you manage your own time.

Key responsibilities for this Quantity Surveyor role include.


- Producing monthly CVR's
- Dealing with subcontractor management and payments.
- Assist with procurement, raising of requisitions, sending enquiries for both projects and tenders
- Check applications from suppliers for works completed with Project Manager
- - Prepare and submit monthly applications to clients on time, as specified in the contract valuation schedule


Experience required for this Quantity Surveyor role include

- Experience within an infrastructure or construction background (rail is preferred)
- Good work ethic and desire to learn
- Degree within Quantity Surveying
- Experience with JCT or NEC3 contracts

Package offered for this Quantity Surveyor role include.

- Salary circa £45,000
- 25 days holiday + BH
