Quantity Surveyor Required
Candidate Requirements:
- Up to £350.00 per day, depending on experience
- CIS/LTD payment
- North West
- Immediate starts available due to an increased order book
- Opportunity to become an established member of the commercial team and grow with the company
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of contracts based on NEC3 & NEC4 forms of contract
- Responsible for the successful delivery of these contracts ensuring to achieve set margin target
- Liaise regularly with the client aiming to develop and maintain a good working relationship and resolve issues at the project team level
- Successful change management both at the Main Contract and Subcontract level
- Maintain cost control throughout the life of the contract and take proactive measures to maintain the desired balance between Value and Costs
- Analyse and report on costs, accruals and forecast costs using company accounting and commercial systems available
- Support in the tendering process by preparing subcontract enquiry documents, tender analysis and recommending the project team in the selection of the most suitable subcontractor/supplier
- Procurement of subcontractors and materials
- Subcontract management including drafting of the subcontracts, assessment of application for payments, change management etc.
Candidate Requirements:
- Degree qualified
- Civils/MEP background within a Rail environment
- Subcontractor background - Preferred
- NEC3 & NEC4 contract experience - Preferred
