A leading main contractor with a healthy order book across rail, infrastructure and energy who have successfully achieved an abundance of project wins on long term multi-billion-pound frameworks.

On top of the important work for the infrastructure sector: sustainability, community work and charity are a big focus. Reducing their carbon footprint and committing to net zero are at the forefront of all their works.

An established Ganymede client, they have built up a solid reputation over the years which has made them become one of the “go to” names for capital infrastructure spend.

Your Role

Britain’s railways have to keep running, but it’s not just the track itself that has to be maintained. It’s the bridges it lies on, the fenceposts that stop stray walkers onto the tracks, the Railway Stations with centuries of heritage that allow the rail network to be effective.

As a permanent Quantity Surveyor, you will undertake a role backed by a multi-million pound framework working on multiple infrastructure projects concurrently. This is a fast-paced dynamic environment where no one day is the same!

Supporting Senior Leadership and mentoring Junior Staff, you can offer crucial support, and yet be supported at the same time in a Tier 1 Main Contractor environment. You will manage multiple sites, negotiate with clients and conduct monthly CVR’s.

Your Experience

This role is ideal for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor with demonstratable experience looking to step up, or a candidate already at Quantity Surveyor level looking to build on their career. Ideally, you will come from a NEC civil engineering background or a finance role within the Facilities Management industry.

You will have experience managing a high volumes of work, constantly reviewing the schedule of rates and accurately costing works.
