The Company
Ganymede are currently working with a growing and ambitious rail infrastructure contractor with a healthy orderbook secured for CP7 who are looking to advance into other sectors such as highways and water.

Your Role
If you enjoy mentoring and developing others, then this is the role for you. You will have the opportunity to mentor two junior staff, and use your expertise to develop their skill sets and progress their careers.

You will have the opportunity to develop in a growing business, who is looking to take on more work within rail, and expand into other sectors such as highways and water. You will be able to take sole responsibility for commercial duties central to the team. With an ambitious growth plan, you will work with the team to deliver multiple projects between £50,000 and a £1million in value.

Opportunity to widen your experience in the rail and the civil engineering sector with the chance to get out on site, obtain your PTS, CSCS and to pursue your RICS and other industry specific qualifications.

Delivering projects to the highest standards to major clients in the UK infrastructure sector, you will work closely with the Commercial Manager to identify new business opportunities. This is an exciting time to join and become a key player in this business, building off years of successful development to look to the future and expand further.

Your Experience
You will be a Quantity Surveyor/ Senior Quantity Surveyor with minimum five years’ experience from an NEC & General Civils background.

  • NEC Option A and C experience is vital to hit the ground running
  • Conduct monthly CVR’s , complete final accounts and effectively review contracts
  • Locally based and willing to travel to different sites as and when required
