Senior Quantity Surveyor - Rail

Location: Peterborough

Salary: £45,000 to £65,000 per annum plus benefits package

My client has a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a growing and ambitious construction and infrastructure business.

The successful Senior Quantity Surveyor will have experience and an excellent understanding in both construction and infrastructure sectors as well as possessing the following:

• Detailed knowledge of Commercial management systems, both commercial and financial (COINS, and Sphere)
• Experience in procurement and personnel management
• Commercial and Contractual knowledge in various forms of contracts
• Knowledge of current legislation
• Managed Quantity Surveyors on a large contract
• Experience with negotiation and settlements in disputes and accounts
• Experience in People Management
• Experience working in a rail, construction or infrastructure environment

Qualifications

• Be degree qualified or have equivalent experience
• CSCS Compliance
• Working towards professional membership of appropriate organisations i.e. RICS or CIOB
