Our client is the UK Divisional arm of a leading international contractor. They are currently working as a Contractor and on several Rail and Infrastructure projects throughout the UK, with an exceptionally strong order book for the next 10 years.

They have also recently secured a pipeline of standalone infrastructure projects and Frameworks and are looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their Commercial and Site Delivery team.

You will take responsibility for all areas of financial and contractual administration for your projects / packages of work. This will include but not limited to:

• Reporting to the Head of Commercial on a functional basis and to the Project Manager on an operational basis on all financial and contractual matters
• Sub-contract procurement and management
• Cost reporting and maintaining project profitability
• Producing timely cost and financial reports
• Assisting with risk and change management
• Developing and maintain positive relationships internally and externally with alliance & JV partners and the Client.

Key Experience:

• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or similar qualification
• Circa 8 years experience within Civil Engineering / Infrastructure (rail, highways, airports, water etc.)
• Management of multiple schemes / packages of works concurrently, through the full project life cycle
• Contractual management of NEC3 forms of contract
