We are dealing with a major rail engineering consultancy who are looking at expanding their track design team by recruiting an Assistant Track Design Engineer in Manchester to work on some of the UKs flagship rail engineering projects.

As the Assistant Track Design Engineer, you will produce permanent way engineering designs, studies, and reports for various rail infrastructure projects across the UK. Typical duties of the Track Design Engineer can include, but not limited to:

• Design permanent way solutions for projects
• Produce design project deliverables
• Provide project progress and performance reports
• Deliver projects to current engineering and safety standards

Job Requirements

• Familiar with a permanent way or track design engineering position within a design environment
• Familiar with multi-disciplinary issues associated with permanent way design
• Familiar with Bentley MicroStation, Bentley RailTrack, Open Rail, ClearRoute2 or similar
