An excellent contractual opportunity on the horizon for an experienced, delivery focused Rail Construction Manager to represent our client, (a UK leading Main Contractor) in fulfilling fundamental delivery processes for new Railway Station build and related infrastructure development.

This experience and delivery focused Rail related Construction Manager to lead the delivery for a P-Way renewals and enhancements and well as managing varied civil aspects, to be based long term in the Midlands.

Role & Responsibilities:

You the Rail Construction Manager will be reporting to the Senior Programme Management team and will be accountable for the effective planning, design reviews and associated engineering delivery support for a variety of P-Way, Civil and Build associated development work.

Requirements:

Our client needs you the Rail Construction Manager to have had previous experience working in a similar role, comfortably managing P-Way and Civils aspects within fundamental UK Rail infrastructure development aspects. Our client would like the appointed Construction Manager to possess the following;

  • Have proven experience in managing and controlling the planning, design reviews to delivery of multi-discipline Rail engineering works, from a P-Way and Rail Civils perspective together with the working appreciation of associated infrastructure
  • Strong working knowledge of Rail engineering policies and procedures and NWR GRIP stages
  • Good man-management, planning, design to build and delivery qualities
  • Strong communication skills at all levels, able to competently interface with clients and key-stakeholders and work collaboratively with associated sectors
  • Past experience working within UK Rail Station build or regeneration projects
