An established civil engineering main contractor who is heavily engaged on a variety of construction civil engineering and rail upgrades and regeneration programmes currently have a superb opportunity for an experienced PTS Site Construction Manager with strong working experience in the delivery of Stations and Platform programmes, to be based in Berkshire.


Duties & Responsibilities:
Reporting to and working closely with the Snr Project Management team, you the PTS Site Construction Manager will be responsible for the control, coordination and supervision of varied vital Stations and Platforms development / upgrade schemes. You the Site Construction Manager and will be accountable for controlling the planning and technical aspects on-site delivery, including ensuring effective review and produced method statements, ITP s and risk assessments, programming of works, resolving technical issues, reading and interpreting drawings and requesting further information for clarity where required.


You will be managing and controlling sub-contractor and direct labour and will be liaisons and managing clients and Key Stakeholders.
As the PTS Site Construction Manager, you will have a strong back ground in managing the effective delivery of UK Rail Station updates and developments / revamp schemes, ensuring that the scopes of work are derived to time, budget and to Clients specification and expectation, whilst being focused on Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental impacts.

Requirements for this PTS Site Construction Manager position are;

* To have a strong background within the management of delivery of UK Rail Construction, Build and Civils programmes
* Hold working knowledge and experience of UK Rail Station and platform development and or revamps
* Have a strong working Heath, Safety and Quality appreciation
* Able to effectively read and interoperate technical drawings and deicide in appropriate actions of delivery
* To be able to communicate effectively both written and verbal, experienced in producing detailed reports and liaising confidently with Snr Management teams, Clients and Key Stakeholders
* Able to effectively assist and manage planning and scoping of work
