PRINCIPLE TECHNICAL OFFICER - CENTRAL LONDON - 6 MONTH CONTRACT BASIS - £430 PER DAY

Arm are currently working with a well-known rail company who is currently seeking for a Principle Technical Officer to join their team on a 6 month basis based in Central London.

About You:

For this role you must have the following to be considered:

You will ideally have or be working towards an NVQ level2 or 3 (or equivalent) in an engineering/leadership subject.

Level 2 stressing qualification (plain line & S&C)

To have the good basic knowledge and experience of track renewal or maintenance and construction management process, systems, and standards.

To have the competent knowledge of design requirements, processes, and techniques.

You MUST have a DRIVERS license and be able to travel.

You MUST HOLD A PTS card!

What you will be doing:

In this role you will be expected to:

You must be able to manage the preparations of work and supply specifications, method statements and plans.

You must be able to undertake and oversee technical tasks, surveys and design work with undertaking practical inspections, tests, investigations, and analysis of technical data.

You will need to be able to manage processes and systems for the calibration and certification tools and equipment.

You will have to prepare specifications and requisitions for materials.

This role will be office/site-based role - London office as based but will require a lot of travelling to sites along the Wessex route.

There will be some weekend working and night shifts required.

This role is a 6 Month contract.

The rate for this position is £430 Per Day (Umbrella) Inside IR35.

We can only consider applications from those eligible to work in the UK for this role. Also, as part of the compliance process, a DBS will be required prior to start.
