Project Engineer – Track x2

Up to £50,000pa plus excellent benefits package

Based in Basingstoke & Eastleigh

Our client is a well established Nationwide Rail company whose professionalism and well respected name have been instrumental in their success. They provide an exceptional service to their customers and are focused on continually improving this.

Our client is looking for 2 Project Engineers – Works Delivery, mostly Track maintenance, with some renewal, track design, improving track geometry, review and approve designs for small pockets of work, experience of construction and planning on site.

You will need:

• Previous experience as a Project Engineer, Track, and detailed experience of design and construction standards.
• Extensive experience in planning and managing the technical engineering aspects of track renewal/enhancement projects.
• Experience of carrying out line surveys to required standards
• Undertaking geometry surveys, setting up control networks and processing the data
• Setting out for track renewals work
• Experienced in delivering track engineering work on site for one of the PE roles, including tamping

Desirable

• CAD software use and Bentley Rail Track for track geometry designs
• Knowledge of track construction methods.
