Due to the continued success of our client, they are now looking to recruit a permanent Road Rail Vehicle operator for their depot in the East Midlands, reporting to the senior manager you will work as part of a team or unsupervised depending on the project scope job, and will work on vehicles and attachments. Our client is seeking to employ an expereinced candidate on a permanent basis and will offer a salary of c. £36,000 per year with the opportunity of weekend overtime which will be paid at x1.5 for Saturdays and x2 Sundays. A requirement with the role will be working away on occassion and the company will provide all necessary lodging and expenses. Responsibilities Work to a safe and competent standard. Responsible for unsupervised safe movement of machines and in accordance to rules and regulations. Operate "on track machines" (OTM) in accordance with Railway Standards Carry out daily and weekly maintenance and safety checks and assist Fitter staff when fixing a machine breakdown or problem. Conduct all pre-start safety checks using appropriate daily and weekly check lists.
