My client has an opportunity for an experienced administrator based out of Bolton for an immediate start. Our client specialises in rail /construction and civil projects and they need a good strong administrator to join their team to ensure all their paperwork is in order. Also, to ensure the general day to day materials and staffing are in hand for everything to run efficiently.
This role will suit someone that is organised and a people’s person. Someone that can relate to people from all different areas of the business from: - contractors, employees to managers and clients. This is a contract opportunity that may lead to a permanent opportunity for the right person. This is an immediate start or further to any notice period as required.
Your Key responsibilities will be to: -
You will understand how to check the relevant competencies of the client’s contractors as they all work to any one or all of the following: -NRSWA, CSCS, CPCS, SHEA, CITB or PTS. (If you have strengths in any of these areas, I'm interested in speaking to you.)
As the administrator you will assist with: -
General clerical duties.
Ordering and organising materials.
Organising manpower.
Distributing reports.
Dealing with client enquiries over the phone.
Key Skills Experience
You will have previously worked as an administrator
You will previously have worked in a similar setting of a rail, civils or construction environment.
Two years' plus experience as an Administrator within the rail/ civils or construction industry.
Excellent communication skills
Excellent written and verbal skills
Great organisational skills Ability to work/ manage yourself and others as and when required.
A good understanding of rail sentinel certification and requirements.
An understanding or experience of CSCS Construction Gold Qualifications
Related qualifications as an office administrator.
I.T skill
Full clean driving license
