Job title: Trackside Operatives
Job location: Ramsgate/West Marina
Rates: £16.50 Ltd Nights (Inc £1 an retainer)
Shifts: Flexible
Hours per week: 48 hours per week
Duration: On-going contract

Position Summary:
The role is carrying out checks on machinery for Autumnal Sanding. You will be expected to complete checks prior to the work being carried out.
The following tasks are required:
Inspect all sand hoppers, ensure they are clean, seals are in good condition, all
locking mechanisms work correctly and the hoppers are full to the required maximum
level of dry sand. Test the flow of sand on each unit for a period of 5 - 10 seconds and to ensure that counters are reset at both ends of the vehicle
The position is based on a busy maintenance depot and all applicants would be expected to complete the following:
*Must hold full and current PTS Card
*Experience of handling machinery/tooling
*May be required to remove large components such as axle boxes
*Work from written instruction (VMI)
*Routine fleet checks ensuring that the machinery is operable
*Work flexibly with a maintenance team
