Our client is one of Australia’s top transport providers and provides a number of cost-effective passenger transport services to the residents of Western Australia.

About the Role
As the Principal Track Engineer for this State-owned organisation, you will manage the operation performance and the ongoing upgrade and maintenance of the point and crossing works. Your commitment to ensure safety and reliability will be paramount in this role as you drive the planning and effective execution of the works.

Your previous background in delivering construction and maintenance work for passenger rail will have equipped you with the ability to successfully oversee multiple projects from the planning stage through the delivery to completion of testing and commissioning.

Key Criteria
To be successful in your application for the role of Principal Track Engineer you will be able to meet the following criteria:

• Relevant engineering degree - for example; Civil, Electrical or Signalling.
• A background working on the maintenance of Rail tracks servicing passenger rail networks.
• Substantial knowledge of Railway Points and Crossings work.
• Strong communication skills and able to interface with multiple stakeholders.
• Ability to control safety requirements, budgets and timeframes.
• Police Clearance certificate, Drivers Licence and Medical certification required.
