Network Rail are looking for an Experienced Track Engineer to undertake PE and DPE duties for low, medium and high complexity track renewals within Works Delivery: Eastern Region on an Annual Workbank and standalone project basis. Including multidisciplinary engagement with Signalling, OLE, D&P and Civils.

As a Project Engineer Track your main responsibilities would be:
- Deliver strategic Track projects from inception to completion within budget and timescales
- Manage all engineering activities so that they result in schemes that are affordable and meet programme requirements in a safe and environmentally responsible manner for time, cost and quality
- Participate in the development of track strategies with the CTRL Head of Track Engineering and deliver the associated projects
- Identify training needs in technical and management areas for the once project delivery is completed
- Negotiate and agree project deliverables, costs, timescales and resource requirements with other disciplines and produce, monitor and report on a resourced project plan
- Deliver regular progress reports on projects, including relevant risks and issues to the CTRL Head of Track Engineering and Track Maintenance Engineer and their teams
- Prepare and prepare product acceptance papers for approval by acceptance groups and panels
- Promote and monitor the use of efficiency improvement methods
You’ll have relevant experience in:
- Experience Track Engineer
- Engineering Management for Projects (02009)GRIP/PACE, CDM and AMP.
- Experience of undertaking DPE duties
- Experience within the rail industry
