Company Information

Due to the expansion of their Civil Engineering division, my client, a well known construction company operating within the Rail Industry is seeking to employ a Project Manager.

Ideally candidates with be based within a commutable distance from Doncaster however my client is happy to base a candidate remotely if they are happy to travel to Doncaster on occasion.

To be suitable for the position you will have;

• Previous experience of delivering small to medium sized civil engineering schemes within the Rail Industry.
• Network rail project experience
• A HND or be Degree educated in a related subject (Civils, Construction)
• A current PTS and SMSTS.

Although not essential it would also be advantageous if you have;

Role Information;

• Supervising and overseeing the direction of the project (or a package), ensuring that the client’s specifications and requirements are met
• Directing and overseeing the activities of a range of contractors and subcontractors
• making safety inspections and ensuring construction and site safety
• Managing all site based activities including, Staff, Operatives Plant and materials, Health and Safety, Training, liaising with clients, cost control and KPI monitoring
• Regularly reviewing timings, budget, labour, risk and project plans to ensure work stays on track
• Ensuring the delivery of high-quality work within contract timescales
