Exciting Opportunity: Construction Planner for Highspeed Rail Project

Are you a detail-oriented construction planner with a knack for supervising complex projects? Do you want to be part of a transformative infrastructure initiative that will enhance connectivity across Europe? We are seeking a skilled Planning and Risk manager to join our team for this Highspeed Rail project in Latvia, ensuring seamless execution during the construction supervision phase.
About The Project: The project is a major European Highspeed Rail project that will connect the Baltic States to the European rail network, creating a high-speed, sustainable rail link from Tallinn to Warsaw. This ambitious project aims to revolutionise regional transportation, drive economic growth, and promote environmental sustainability.
Your Role: As a Planning and Risk manager during the construction supervision phase, you will be working on behalf of the end client, playing a critical role in supervising the contractor and ensuring that the project progresses smoothly and adheres to all timelines and quality standards. You will work closely with the Project Director as part of an international team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop & Supervise detailed construction schedules, integrating input from various stakeholders to align with project milestones and deadlines.
- Monitor ongoing construction activities to ensure adherence to planned schedules and identify potential delays or issues.
- Coordinate with construction supervisors, contractors, and other team members to facilitate efficient resource allocation and workflow.
- Prepare and present regular progress reports, highlighting achievements, challenges, and proposed adjustments.
- Evaluate and manage risks associated with construction schedules and implement mitigation strategies as needed.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and contractual obligations throughout the construction phase.
What We're Looking For:
- Degree in Engineering / Risk Management or a related discipline
- 10+ years as planning experience as planning engineer in transport infrastructure
- 5+ years' experience working in Primavera P6
- Previous Consultancy/ Client side experience
- Regional experience would be beneficial but not essential.

Salary & Package
The salary would be circa €6-8,000 per month (Gross) with additional allowance for accommodation.
