THE COMPANY
This multimillion-pound company are specialists in Energy, Highways, Nuclear and Rail works across the UK. With a strong order book in place they are now looking to recruit a Section Engineer for a large rail civil engineering scheme.

THE ROLE
Technical compliance of core renewals

Assist with the effective survey, design and setting out of the renewal installation

Accurate and consistent recording and delivery of the as-built details

Liaise with the Senior and Principal Technical Officers to deliver a mutually successful conclusion

Deliver the plan on a day to day basis

Identify potential variations to contract and opportunities for added value to the Principal Technical Officer

Effectively manage the utilisation of plant and equipment on site

Ensure equipment is calibrated to required quality standards

Report problems and issues to Senior and Principal Technical Officers

Monitor of calibration and maintenance of equipment.

Oversee the correct marking up of sites pre and post work

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
To be selected for this exciting position you will ideally have an HNC, HND or a Degree in Civil Engineering and a proven background as a Section Engineer on rail civil engineering projects. You must also hold a valid PTS Card and be available to start immediately.

THE RATE
The rate for this position is £350-£400 per shift and the contract is for six months.
