PURPOSE:
To develop a concept for safe track access for ECML-S that is acceptable to the users
KEY TASKS:
- Develop an outline concept capturing the future arrangements to assure safe access to the track.
- Capture the current problems with track access and anticipated future problems.
- Identify opportunities to improve track safety especially known issues/constraints
- Verify the concept and problem statements with users including a safe and effective working team
- Build on existing information/initiatives reaching out to any relevant working groups or the like
- Support Hazard-id based on track access concept
ROLE PROFILE:
- Understanding of track access on the mainline railway
- Able to capture and articulate concepts and problem statements in a way that is understandable and accessible to the user
- Effective ability to engage and lead the users to obtain user input
- Effective management of the delivery of the concept within the agreed timescales.
- Work collaboratively with the Industry partners
This role will be remote working with occasional travel to York.
