We have an exciting opportunity for a Track Delivery Manager to join our Story Scotland division based from our Blantyre office - and there has never been a better time to join!
The Role
As a Track Delivery Manager at Story Contracting you will…
• Be responsible for the design development of Track designs and coordinate integration between other disciplines throughout project lifecycle
• Undertake the role of Track CRE or be working towards through mentoring
• Manage sub consultant designers to ensure provision of high-quality deliverables both for permanent track design and for ESR/TSR design
• Carry out an assurance role to ensure Story Contracting maintain high levels of compliance within the track discipline
• Undertake material take-offs, plant requirements and coordinate with project delivery team
• Develop and mentor junior and graduate team members to enhance their basic knowledge of track disciplines
• Provide a seamless link between the design and implementation phases of track schemes
• Carry out pre and post work assurance and compliance activities (AMP), including collation of handback certificates
• Coordinate with Network Rail Discipline Engineers

The Ideal Candidate:
• Will have previous experience in the design and delivery of track schemes
• Have undertaken the role of CRE previously (not essential but preferable)
• Have excellent knowledge of Network Rail Track standards
• Have experience of track delivery in renewals and core disruptives
