An established UK Rail development organisation who are heavily engaged in a major multi-million £ development and modernisation programme for our UK Railway infrastructure have an excellent permanent opening for an experienced and knowledgeable Track and Civil Project Engineer to be based initially in London, moving to Oxfordshire and Cambridgeshire.

Role & Responsibilities:

Reporting to and assisting the Head of Engineering, you the Track and Rail Civil Project Engineer will be accountable for supporting production through effective management of integrated design and delivery of Track and Rail Civils fundamentals. The Track and Rail Civils work will include Drainage, Earthworks and varied Structures.

You will be developing Track and Rail Civil engineering policies and processes for effective and credible technical design submissions. Assessing, reviewing and assuring to ensure full compliance with regards to industry standards as well as health, safety and quality standards also delivery and environmental impacts

As the Track and Rail Civil Project Engineer, you will be a strong technical support and lead, required to analyse complex data, and produce credible outcomes and solutions.


Requirements:

It is envisaged that the successful Track and Rail Civil Project Engineer will be qualified to a Civil Engineering Degree or equivalent and possess a strong work history within a similar role. You will be either a Chartered Engineer or working towards a chartered accreditation and will be a member of a related Engineering institution.
