Asset Engineer (Rail)
Location: London
Length of Contract: 1 year
Day rate: £440 (Inside IR35)
Be an electrical engineer with a strong background in E&P.
The engineer will act as focal point for best practise and technical advice in own specialist area.
The candidate will support the delivery of activities required by policy and standards.
The engineer will provide support for strategy, while identifying and prioritise actions to address defects and deliver corrective actions while undertaking risk analysis and developing mitigation plans.
The engineer will monitor and evaluate technical and related asset data, while undertaking information management and record keeping.
Understand the asset management environment.
Have third rail experience.
Have a technical or safety background with relevant qualifications in the field.
Have a detailed understanding of Asbestos Regulations (ideally)
Have a proven track record of developing and implementing solutions to address the requirements of the regulations ideally in a non-building or diverse asset application.
Have an appreciation of project management and the ability to develop and monitor a programme of works.
Have good MS Office skills, particularly with Excel.
