CONTRACTORS RESPONSIBLE ENGINEER (CRE) RAIL – SOUTH WALES – PERMANENT – FULL-TIME - £52,000 - £60,000

ARM are working with a leading infrastructure company and we are looking for a Principal CRE Engineer to work in Glamorgan.

In order to be considered you will need the following essential skills and experience;

• Hold an engineering degree or equivalent
• Chartered membership status of a relevant institution such as IHT, ICE, etc.
• Significant experience of working within rail
• Good working knowledge of the Network Rail processes, standards and the GRIP process.
• Experience of one or more of the following; station design, bridge design, refurb or strengthening, civil works along the lines, stabilisation works and gantry and foundation design work.
• A good understanding of CDM requirements

An excellent opportunity for a Principal Engineer Civils / CRE to join our clients Rail & Public Transport team based in Cardiff working across a varied range of regional and UK investment projects.

You will be part of a small team undertaking a full range of challenging and varied work in the planning, appraisal, design and implementation of rail and public transport schemes, working for a number of clients on projects, in Wales and the rest of the UK.

This is a full-time, permanent position. Salary for this position is between £52,000 and £60,000 per annum and will be based on your experience and suitability for the role.
