The Fleet Heavy Overhaul Programme delivers the Programme Lifts, Heavy Overhauls and Door Overhauls for London Underground's passenger rolling stock fleets. As part of this work, engineers are required to complete the following activities:

* Generation, review and trialling of remove/refit & overhaul work instructions
* Generation, review and validation of test procedures
* Undertaking of Condition Assessments (strip downs/reporting)
* Generation of Bills of Materials
* Development of special tooling for in-house overhaul tasks
* Writing of engineering specifications for tendering of overhaul activities
* Technical support to Procurement & Supply Chain team for Tenders
* Production of Assurance documentation (CRSs, Concessions etc.)
* Support to Commercial, Procurement & Materials departments to address general technical queries (alternative materials options, obsolescence etc.)
* On-depot support to productionise overhaul processes.
* Production of Technical Justifications internal procurement governance.
* First Article Inspection of overhauled assemblies
* Support to Quality engineering teams to audit suppliers & resolving ongoing issues / review NCRs
* Support in producing key TfL Pathway project management framework documentation such as Technical Requirements Specifications
* Attendance at project meetings representing engineering domain with internal and external stakeholders.
* Production of plans and reports to track and illustrate progress on assigned work packages for project meetings.
* Material usage/forecasting reviews

Suitable candidates will ideally have experience with activities of this nature.
