This position is to assist the Competence Manager to deliver required assessments
The ideal candidate will have worked an S&T engineering environment and ideally have held an Installation Manager (1.2.145) IRSE Licence or equivalent if different discipline
Undertake assessments to the A1 standard as required.
Undertake verifications of assessments as required.
Work closely with assessors throughout the business to deliver all the required assessments.
Manage the completion of the necessary paperwork following the completion of an assessment.
Undertake internal/external audits as required and complete the necessary paperwork and reports following the completion of an audit.
Attend and participate in internal IRSE assessor/standardisation meetings
Attend external meetings as required in association with the IRSE Licensing Scheme.
Carry out technical training suitable to skills as required to support the business needs
Skills:
• Occupational competence in the assessments to be undertaken
• Working knowledge of Safety Critical Work Regulations, Network Rail and Group Standards applicable to staff competence
Qualifications:
• PTS Holder
• A1 Assessor qualification
• V1 Verifier qualification
