I/we are looking for a Networking Commissioning Engineer with a strong IP Telephony background.

This person ideally would have a good hands on working background of Cisco based IP telephony ranging from the handsets themselves all the way through to the Call manager systems (CUCM and Unity) and the connectivity (SIP Trunks for example) between Cisco and non-Cisco products

Good Troubleshooting skills across Routing, Switching and IP Telephony.

Ideally the candidate should be in possession of a Valid Cisco CCNP in Cisco Routing and Switching and IP Telephony but would be interested in candidates with a lower qualification but the hands on background experience to fit.

Because the role is in the Rail Industry ideally we are looking for someone with experiencing networking equipment in a Rail Environment

Experience in the following would also be useful but not essential.

• IP CCTV Experience – commissioning and configuring
• TDM circuits over IP
• Commend / Help point systems
• Practical Team Leader experience.
• Developing of Test documentation to be used by others on site.

The role should be considered as very much a site based role and would require a suitable CSCS or ECS Card and would required to pass a full Drugs and Alcohol screening.
