We are currently dealing with a leading Engineering consultancy renowned for there technical expertise within Civil and Structural Engineering who are looking at recruiting a Principal Rail Structural Design Engineer to be based in the Southwest, near Gloucester. Within the role youll work on a range of Structures schemes including Bridge, Temporary Works, and general Rail Structures undertaken detailed designs and acting as a CRE and lead Engineer when required. As the Principal Engineer youll coordinate and deliver designs for rail and broad civil engineering projects.

 

Job Requirements

• Minimum of five years experience in the design of civils infrastructure in a rail environment including the application of Network Rail (NR) standards where appropriate, element design and detailing to Eurocodes in a NR environment
• Chartered Engineer with a relevant institution
• Experience of bridge loading to Eurocodes
• Experience of steel and concrete design to Eurocodes
• Experience in computer software for the analysis of structures
