Project Engineer - Rail OLE and E&P

£400 - £500 per shift (PAYE)

Rolling contract – long term

Duties and Responsibilities

-Collaborate with project managers to develop project plans and timelines.

-Contribute to feasibility studies and site investigations.

-Assist in the preparation of project budgets and cost estimates.

-Work with design teams to develop engineering solutions.

-Ensure that designs comply with relevant regulations and standards.

-Conduct engineering calculations and analysis.

-Oversee construction activities and ensure compliance with design specifications.

-Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.

-Monitor and manage project schedules and budgets.

-Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure quality and safety.

-Implement and maintain quality control processes.

-Conduct inspections to ensure work meets quality standards.

-Address and resolve any quality issues that arise during construction.

-Maintain accurate project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and correspondence.

-Ensure compliance with record-keeping requirements.

To be suitable for the role you will have a Project Engineer background in rail OLE and/or E&P. You will also have a PTS and a full UK driving licence.
