Rail Deputy Engineering Manager, Structures - Philippines

The market leading infrastructure recruitment specialist is working closely with a leading International Contractor or are requiring a Deputy Engineering Manager with a strong Structural (for Underground stations & Tunnelling) background for a Metro project in the Philippines.

Project information:

The project is a major Metro Rail development utilising TBM & 'Top-Down' methods for construction. It is a Japanese financed schemes for which the design has been completed and construction is starting.

The role:

The Deputy Engineering Manager will be working closely with the Engineering Manager to review the designs of the Structural elements and, along with support from the Design team resolve technical issues. The role will include the review of calculation including Beam and Slab, Post anchors, Steel Decking and Temporary Structures relating to the 'Top-Down' methodology.

Requirements:

• Degree qualified
• 5+ years of Design (or Design Review) experience
• TBM & Top Down Tunnelling experience
• Regional Experience would be beneficial

English

Salary Package:

The salary on offer is likely to be in the region of $6,000 to $9,000 and will be Tax free with additional allowances.
