Rail Structures & Bridge Design Specialist - Latvia

The market leading infrastructure recruitment specialist is supporting a leading European consultancy who are requiring a Structures/ Bridge Design specialist for the Co-ordination and Supervision of Highspeed Rail project in Latvia.

Opportunity:

This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in the successful development and delivery of Europe's largest and most high profile rail project. Joining the project from an early stage this present long term opportunities to be based in a desirable location as part of an international team.

Role and responsibilities:

Working on behalf of the end client the successful individual shall be responsible for supervising all aspects of the structural and bridges elements of this High Speed Rail projects. Key elements shall include: Bridges, Viaducts, Embankment, Track & Minor stations.

In the role you shall be required to Review Designs, make recommendations and approve alterations. A key aspect shall be stakeholder management both of the Client and also the Contractor (A European Main Contractor). As part of an International team you shall be supporting the Project Director, working closely with other disciplines including Track/ Civil, Commercial, Planning etc.

Due to the long term nature and as the Project develops they role will also present opportunities for Construction Supervision.

Key requirements for the role:

• Graduate Civil or Structural Engineer
• 15+ years of professional experience in Rail Structures & Bridges
• Consultancy Design experience
• European Qualification (for Latvian Registration)

Language:

Fluency in English writing and communication

Salary Package:

The salary package is $7,000 to $9,000 (Gross) per month plus expatriate package
