Rail Structures & Bridge Design Specialist - Latvia

We are a market-leading infrastructure recruitment specialist partnering with a premier European consultancy. They are seeking a highly skilled Structures/Bridge Design Specialist to oversee and coordinate a major High-Speed Rail project in Latvia.

Role and Responsibilities:

As the appointed specialist, you will be responsible for supervising all aspects related to structural and bridge elements of the High-Speed Rail project. Key areas include:

• Bridges
• Viaducts
• Embankments
• Track
• Minor Stations

Your responsibilities will encompass:

• Reviewing designs and approving alterations
• Stakeholder management with both the client and a European main contractor
• Supporting the Project Director and collaborating closely with other disciplines, including Track/Civil, Commercial, and Planning

Additionally, as the project progresses, there will be opportunities for construction supervision.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• 15+ years of professional experience in Rail Structures and Bridges
• Proven consultancy design experience
• European qualification required for Latvian registration

Language:

• Fluency in English (both written and spoken) is essential

Salary Package:

• $7,000 to $9,000 (gross) per month
• Expatriate package included
