Rail Test & Commissioning Manager (Signals) - Vietnam

The market leading infrastructure recruitment specialists are seeking an experienced Project Engineer from a telecoms background for a major rail systems project in Vietnam.

Opportunity:

My client is a leading International engineering manufacturer who have successfully delivered similar projects around the world in Asia, Europe and the Middle East. They are seeking a telecoms engineer who is also experienced in SCADA and Platform Screen Doors (PSD) to join their team on this exciting metro project.

Responsibilities:

- Ensure installation works are done to standard, and all quality requirements are met

- Lead testing & commissioning activities and ensure the system is delivered on time and accurately

- Provide technical inputs to the project team on an 'as required' basis

- Ensuring project database is regularly updated and including Taking over certification

- Be a part of the team working alongside the Independent Safety Assessor

- Work in conjunction with the health and safety managers for on-site activities

- Ensuring all work done is to requirement in regard to quality, safety, environmental and commercial procedures

- Any other tasks requested by the project management team

Key Requirements For the Role:

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent

- Minimum of 7 years of experience on similar Rail projects

- Experience in SCADA, telecoms, and PSD systems

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

- Ability to manage project sub-systems

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

- IRSE / MIET licensing is preferred but not essential

Language:

Fluency in English writing and communication is essential

Salary Package:
