Railway Telecoms Project Engineer Engineer
Contract, 6 months minimum
Ideally looking for candidates located in the Midlands or Yorkshire, however will consider other locations.
Currently seeking a Railway Telecoms Project Engineer to join a well established railway telecoms team covering all aspects of operational Telecommunications systems in particular related to re-signalling projects.
Experience in managing Operational Comms systems and network infrastructure projects in a railway environment is essential for this role. Systems and infrastructure experience should include but not limited to FTN, FTNx, SPT's, LXing telephones, Fibre and Copper cabling networks, Transmission, concentrators and general line-side safety critical communications.
You will liaise with project team to ensure that design, construction and test activities are carried out in line with client, project, technical and company requirements. You'll ensure that all risk asessments, WPPs, task briefs are produced whilst ensuring that project is meeting it's deadlines in line with commercial and HSEQ constraints.
Preferably you will hold a Valid PTS in case of a requirement to attend site surveys.
