Salary: £32,000-£37,000 per annum (negotiable depending on experience)
Location: Guildford or London, 1 day in office per week.
Bonus: £100 per month if key targets are met, offering achievable incentive on top of your base salary.

Essential requirements:

• Civil or Structural Engineering degree or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum of two years of postgraduate experience, ideally within a design consultancy setting.
• Familiarity with structural calculation software, especially TEDDS.
• Railway project experience.
• Ambitious and desire to learn/progress in your career.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct structural calculations in software such as TEDDS, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project standards.
• Work closely with senior engineers on design projects within the rail sector, contributing both in-office and occasionally on-site.
• Assist in the preparation and review of design drawings, collaborating with project teams to ensure timely delivery.
• Support civil structural engineering design requirements.
• Engage in design stages from concept to finalisation, liaising with stakeholders and contributing technical input.

My client is an SME civil & structural engineering company that is looking for a Structural Design Engineer with experience in structural calculations and some familiarity with MicroStation to join their growing team and support on their upcoming CP7 projects.
