A fantastic opportunity has become available to work with an engineering consultancy in York or Birmingham to work within their Systems Safety Assurance Team. The role will be as the System Safety Assurance Engineer involved in the management of system safety within the company.  This will be an opportunity to lead and educate- providing a framework for compliance, inspection and training. 

Experience and Qualifications:
- Risk Assessment process/ technique experience
- Competent in the management and implementation of system safety in the rail industry
- Ability to audit and inspect internal projects
- Working towards professional institution -  IOSH, ICE, APS
- Engineering knowledge - design and consstruction standards
- Understnading of CSM (Common Safety Method) and Railway Interoperability Regulations within rail 
- Experience working as AsBO (Assessment Body), NoBo (Notified Body) and Designated Body
