Principle Technical Officer: Must have: - HNC Civil Engineering or equivalent - Dual grade laser work experience, this predominantly for S&C. - Level 3 stressing (Ball & Claw) for RT60/NR60 layouts. - Fully conversant with all tamping requirements - Competent with drainage installation. - Survey skills - Design capability minimum requirements Hallade, ITD3, Clear-route, Design Route. Senior Tecnical Officer: Must have: - ONC Civil Engineering or equivalent. - Knowledge of P-Way Design. - Surveying skills; including Hallade & Co-ordinates - Setting out skills - Stressing to Level 3 - Competent in laser dozing this inclusive of calculations for formation cross-fall, cant transitions, vertical curves, competent with drainage installation - Tamping competence - Capable of completing as-builts and filling out all paperwork correctly - Awareness of the requirements of, and fully competent in the application of, relevant Network Rail and RSSB Groups Standards. Technical Officer: - Basic railway survey skills - Laser setting up and balancing experience/knowledge - Laser dozing basic skills - Stressing level 3. - Recording 'as-built' data - Read drawings and designs correctly - Tamping skills - Awareness of the requirements of relevant Network Rail and RSSB Groups Standards.
